Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios has more attractions within half an hour than anywhere else in Jamaica: Dunn’s River Falls, the Blue Hole, river tubing on the White River and the bobsled at Mystic Mountain. The main thing to plan around is not distance but cruise ship schedules, which transform how busy everything is.
Check the port schedule first
Ocho Rios is a cruise port, and on ship days several thousand extra people move through the same attractions in the same few hours. The schedules are published. Doing Dunn’s River on a no-ship morning rather than a two-ship afternoon is the difference between a good day and a queue.
The water attractions
Dunn’s River is the famous climb. The Blue Hole is rougher, wilder and preferred by a lot of people. River tubing on the White River is ninety effortless minutes and works for almost any age. You could do all three in two days without rushing.
