About us
Jamaican owned.
On the ground.
Jamaica Luxe Travel is a Jamaican-owned luxury travel and rental brand. We look after private villas, homes and estates across the island, arrange the transfers that get you to them, and curate the excursions actually worth your time — all handled by people who live here.
Why local ownership is the whole point
Most companies selling luxury Jamaica are run from Montreal, London or Miami. They are curating an island from a distance, through photographs and a phone line. We are not doing that. We live here, we know the owners and the cooks and the drivers by name, and when something goes wrong at eleven at night somebody can physically be there. That is the difference, and it is not one an offshore operator can close.
What we actually do
We manage and market private villas, homes and premium condos for their owners. We arrange licensed private transfers from both international airports. We book excursions with guides we have used ourselves. A guest who arrives through us gets one team for the whole trip rather than three companies who have never spoken to each other.
How we choose what goes on this site
Somebody visits before it is listed. Not a video call, not a set of photographs from the owner — a visit. At this price point the building is rarely the difference between a good stay and a bad one; the staff and the way the place is run are. That is the one thing photographs cannot show you, and the reason our list is shorter than it could be.
Where we are, honestly
We are new and deliberately small. That means you deal with a named person rather than a queue, and it also means we do not yet have a decade of reviews behind us. We would rather say that plainly than pad the site with things that are not true. What we can promise is that everything on here has been seen, and everything we tell you about a property is what we would tell a friend.
