Abacus is a six-bedroom house on the Montego Bay coast with six bathrooms and room for thirteen. The layout suits groups who want to spread out — bedrooms distributed rather than stacked along one corridor — and the pool terrace is the centre of the house. Staff included: cook, housekeeper, and someone to handle the practicalities. About twenty minutes from the airport. A sensible choice for a group of twelve or so who want beachfront without the price of the nine-bedroom estates.
